On August 19, 2026, Dr. Jarika Makkoch, CEO and Co-founder of Genfosis, joined a panel discussion on "The Future of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology: Research, Innovation, and Career Perspectives" at an Insights Session hosted by the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology program, College of Interdisciplinary and Integrative Studies, Chulalongkorn University.
Dr. Jarika shared the stage with distinguished panelists from leading Thai institutions, covering research directions, innovation, and career pathways in bioinformatics and computational biology, aimed at inspiring students and aspiring professionals entering the field.
Drawing on her experience building Genfosis's Precision Health platform, Dr. Jarika offered a real-world industry perspective on where the field is heading and the opportunities it holds for Thailand's next generation of scientists.
